Fairy Godfather is a deconstruction of how the world perceives beauty, happiness and dreams through a local beauty pageant organized by domestic migrants in a foreign land. The film captures one of the biggest pageants in Hong Kong and how it gives temporary freedom to the hidden lives beyond its beautiful skyline.

Baby RuthVillarama has been involved in documentary and narrative film production in the Philippines and the SE Asian region as a producer and filmmaker.
Having begun with producing films and researching for international organizations, Ruth has since worked with the British Council, ILO-UNDP, National Geographic Channel, Mediacorp, Bloomberg TV, NHK, EuroNews, among others as a foreign correspondent.
She eventually joined Voyage Film Studios to provide assistance to international and local independent filmmakers doing stories in the Philippines and its partner country regions. Her advocacy on championing social issues using films is greatly reflected on the global Filipino films she has produced and supported since 2009.
Her first independent documentary film JAZZ IN LOVE (2013), which tackles on intercultural romance has gained recognition in important festivals in Busan, US, Malaysia, Thailand, Amsterdam, among others and has raised important issues on love, equality and migration.
Chuck Gutierrez is an independent film producer and editor. His works have championed Filipino cinema in major film festivals around the globe including Cannes, Venice, Pusan, Berlin, London, Tokyo and New York.
He is also a technical consultant for various international film festivals. His works at Voyage Film Studios has produced new breed of Philippine independent films with respected directors, writers and cinematographers in the Philippines today.
