Synopsis

“Army: 600 Thousand Portraits” documents 21 month process of the compulsory South Korean military service from a point of view of an individual soldier “Woochul”. While Woochul goes through 6 weeks of intensive basic military training and onto join the “honor guard” troop, audience follows “Woochul”’s emotional journey throughout his military service. The film will follow Woochul’s journey of transforming himself into a modern soldier and a highly skilled performer.
